What clients ask before they commit.

If your file is unusual, the useful answer depends on the source data. Ask us directly and a specialist will respond.

01

Scope & history

Will my full transaction history move?

It can. We confirm the exact years and transaction types during scoping rather than assuming every record belongs in the destination.

Can you move only opening balances?

Yes. Balance-only, limited-history and full-history routes are available when the destination supports them.

What if my software pairing is not listed?

Send the source, version and destination. We support additional routes after a technical review.

Can you combine multiple company files?

Often, but consolidation changes reporting and audit trails. We scope entity structure before recommending a route.

02

Accuracy & process

How do you prove the conversion is accurate?

We compare the source and destination trial balances, A/R, A/P and agreed control accounts, then document exceptions.

How long does a conversion take?

Straightforward files may take a few business days. Multi-entity, inventory-heavy or long-history projects receive a specific timetable.

Will you alter my live accounting system?

We prefer a backup, export or read-only access. Any required live-system action is agreed first.

Can we keep working during the conversion?

Usually. We define a cut-off and delta plan so transactions entered during the project are controlled.

03

Security & handover

Do you need my banking login?

No. We never need online-banking credentials, initiate payments or move money.

Can you sign an NDA?

Yes. We can review yours or provide ours before financial records are shared.

How long do you keep files?

Only for the delivery and support period agreed for the engagement. Deletion can be requested when that window closes.

What happens after handover?

You receive the destination file or access, reconciliation evidence, known exceptions and 30 days of email support.

04

Price & readiness

How is the fixed price calculated?

File size, years, transaction types, entities, inventory, payroll dependencies and destination complexity determine scope.

Is the initial review free?

Yes. The scoping review and written quote do not commit you to proceed.

What should I prepare?

Software names and versions, required years, entity count, deadline, file size and any unusual modules or workflows.

Still uncertain?

Describe the file. We’ll answer the real question.

You do not need to upload financial data for an initial conversation.
